It turns out that the stepparents sent Doreen out for an errand, from which she'll be back shortly. They invite Faye to sit and chat with them while she waits, and Faye is happy to do so.It's soon revealed, however, that Margot and Phil deliberately sent Doreen out of the house in order to seduce Faye.
